Studio for
Kids

At OC Creative Design Studio, creativity grows through both our regular weekly classes and our special workshops.

In our weekly classes, children explore art, design, and architecture through hands-on projects. They experiment with different materials, sketch ideas, build models, and turn imagination into real creations. In our small studio setting, every child has the space and guidance to develop their own creative voice.

Our themed workshops are short creative adventures inspired by seasons, celebrations, and playful themes. In the past, children have joined us for projects like Pumpkin Decorating, our cozy Winter Market, and the magical Red Horse Wonderland workshop—each one designed to spark imagination and joyful making.

Whether in weekly classes or workshops, children are encouraged to explore freely, create boldly, and discover that their ideas can become something beautifully real.

My background is in architecture and I spent many years teaching at universities in Europe, but these days you’ll mostly find me covered in glue and paint! After moving to California and becoming a mom, I started doing little creative projects with my own child.

Soon, other families got curious and wanted their kids to join in the fun too. That’s how OC Creative Design Studio was born - a place where children can make a mess, experiment with materials, and let their ideas run wild.

At OC Creative Design Studio, we believe that art, design, and architecture are connected forms of creativity.

Children explore ideas through drawing, building, storytelling, and experimenting with mixed media and upcycled materials. Instead of following templates, they are encouraged to imagine, design, and bring their own ideas to life.

With a background in architecture and design education, I bring a slightly different approach to creative learning. Instead of focusing only on the final artwork, I encourage children to explore the ideas and thinking behind their creations.

Thanks to our small class sizes, every child receives personal guidance and has the freedom to develop their own ideas. One of the most rewarding moments is seeing a child realize that their imagination can turn into something real.

Curious minds and creative hands are always busy in our studio! Some children love building little worlds, some enjoy telling stories through their creations, and others like experimenting with colors, textures, and materials.

In our small classes, every child has the chance to explore their imagination. Over time, we see them grow more focused, patient, and confident in bringing their ideas to life.
