A hands-on art, design & architecture studio in Anaheim, CA — where kids ages 5–12 turn ordinary materials into something uniquely their own.
Every week, our small classes explore art, design and architecture by making things with their hands — building, painting, sculpting and experimenting with ordinary materials in extraordinary ways. Alongside the weekly classes, we run special themed workshops through the year, like Pumpkin Decorating, the Winter Market and Red Horse Wonderland. The goal is never a perfect copy of the teacher's example: it's imagination, problem-solving and the confidence to invent something of your own.
Luna Li trained in architecture and taught at universities in Europe before moving to California. After becoming a mom, she wanted a place where her own child — and every child — could learn the way designers really work: by sketching, building, testing and telling the story behind what they make. That wish became OC Creative Design Studio.
Art, design and architecture are all connected. Children learn best by making — experimenting with real materials, figuring things out as they go, and using storytelling to give every project meaning.
Classes stay tiny — never more than 6 students — so every child gets real guidance. Projects start from ordinary materials and open-ended ideas, which means no two finished pieces ever look the same.
